I have this illness. When I encounter a word or expression that can be interpreted in multiple ways, my brain will automatically start applying the alternate meanings. I often find myself laughing at myself, because a particularly banal statement can turn into something quite amusing in my head. For example, trivia questions often ask you to name some movie or song. They are expecting you to identify, or give the name of the movie or song being hinted at. I, however, like to use the a different definition of the verb ‘name’. It’s much more fun to give a name to something. And while I generally lose these sorts of contests, I find my way of playing much more entertaining.
So, when I first saw this particular image, I was immensely tickled. In fact, I couldn’t contain my laughter for quite some time. Even today when I saw it again, I laughed and laughed, as though seeing it for the first time.
i dont get it…hugsnkisses?
I really find these hilarious 😆 , but I don’t think I would ever have the guts to put an answer like that on a test.
I hope that person got at least some credit for the question, because that is hilarious!
@greg, think where’s waldo.
@victoria, I have taken tests where the few points I might have gained from trying to solve the problem weren’t nearly as gratifying as offering a clever answer. I know exactly where this guy is coming from.
@justin, I don’t think so. The red marks on the answer seem to indicate, he got it wrong and was getting zero credit.
